Nobel Winner Richard E. Taylor DEAD @ 88
He shared the 1990 physics prize for the discovery of quarks, one of the fundamental particles in the universe. In the late 1960's this was considered a very major event in physics. This lead the way for the development of the Standard Model, the classification system for all known elementary particles and forces.
