American actor, singer, songwriter, and guitarist.
In 1969 he made his debut on Broadway and then signed with
Universal Studios and appeared in many TV shows including Ironside, Adam-12,
Bonanza, and in 1970 he joined his stepmother Shirley Jones on the Partridge
Family.
He was also a well-known teen idol music star racking up
many Top-10 singles both as part of the Partridge Family and as a solo
artist. There were 10 Partridge Family
albums and 5 solo albums. He toured to
massive crowds and many of his albums went Platinum selling more than a million
copies each.
