Ken Shapiro, TV Satirist, DEAD @ 75

He created what is widely believed to be the precursor of SNL with his 1974 film ‘Groove Tube’ which satirized television.  


The film stared Chevy Chase and Richard Belzer.  

As a child actor he played "the Kid" on Milton Berle's Texaco Star Theater.
