Carol Neblett, Star Soprano DEAD @ 71

Recognized for her red-hair and big-voice and was an accomplished  opera singer who performed with many superstars like Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo.

She was a star soprano at the Metropolitan Opera in the 1980s and she grabbed headlines for appearing sans clothes in the staging of “Thaïs.”
