9th Circuit Judge Harry Pregerson, DEAD @ 94

Known as one of the most liberal federal appeals court judges in the nation.  

Considered a controversial figure Pregerson was at the center of criticism.   

After 36 years on the bench Pregerson took senior status in 2015 at the age of 92.  His wife urged him to reduce his workload.  He was quoted at the time as saying,  "You know, at 92 you are not 82. "You slow down a bit and need a little more rest."
