Jim Nabors DEAD @ 87

Nabors, a liver transplant  survivor in 1994 after contracting hepatitis B.  

He joined "The Andy Griffith Show" in the early 1960s and became a star. He portrayed the character of Gomer Pyle, the unworldly, but lovable gas pumper who would exclaim "Gollllll-ly!" His role was such a success that he got his own show in 1964 in which he starred on the CBS comedy "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C."
