Lee Leonard, ESPN's First Voice DEAD @ 89
Lee Leonard began his media career in radio at WNBC-AM in New York in the mid 60's.
In the mid-1970s, he hosted the daily talk show, Midday Live, on Channel 5 in New York City. While there he was a sports TV pioneer co-hosting Sports Extra with Bill Mazer. He joined ESPN in 1979 at its inception, and held TV jobs with CBS and NBC.
