Colin Kroll was found dead in his Manhattan apartment early Sunday morning, according to police. His girlfriend called 911 call just after midnight.
A police investigation is ongoing the medical examiner’s office will determine the exact cause of death but it appears Kroll died of a drug overdose. It is beleived that he was found with drug paraphernalia around him.

Kroll was the CEO of HQ Trivia, a popular trivia game that livestreamed via their app beginning in 2017. Game winners won cash. The app has a very large following.
Prior to HQ Trivia, Kroll had also collaborated with Rus Yusupov and Dom Hofmann to launch Vine, a video app that played six-second clips on repeat. Twitter bought Vine in 2012 and then shut it down a few years later.
