NYC Radio Legend Lou Adler DEAD @ 88
At the time, All-News radio was in it's early years and Lou Adler helped shape the news radio format. Beginning in 1973 until 1981 he served as the news director for WCBS-AM 880.
He produced produced a nationally-syndicated medical program and also anchored at 1010 WINS-NY as well as ABC News. At one time he was the president of the Radio and TV News Directors Association and also served as a journalism professor for several years at Quinnipiac University.
