Mundell Lowe DEAD @ 95

A guitar great who played with the Everly Brothers Billie Holiday, and Charlie Parker. 

He was a master of his craft and considered one of the most important Jazz guitarists of all time.  


He was also known as a wonderful arranger write a lot of material for big bands and scoring for an abundance of movies and TV in Los Angeles.  Among his many movie and TV music credits credits were “Billy Jack,” “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask)” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Starsky and Hutch.” 

He worked with familiar jazz greats such as Buddy Rich and Carmen McRae, R&B vocal standout Ruth Brown, and Pop singer Barry Manilow.
