Norman Baker, Adventurer, DEAD @ 89

Among numerous journeys his most notable was when he crossed the Atlantic on reed raft in 1969; it was a 3,275 mile adventure.  Everything from mining gold in Alaska, to living on a 19th century schooner, to climbing the Matterhorn Norman Baker saw the world through and adventurers lens.    

The 89 year old died in a plane crash in Vermont.
