As James Bond's love interest in the films Dr No and From Russia With Love. She played the role of Sylvia Trench opposite from Sir Sean Connery.

Gayson's character was the first to hear the famous line from Connery, "Bond, James Bond" when she asked him for his name during a famous scene in the first film.
