Fox News and Washington Post's Charles Krauthammer DEAD @ 68
American columnist and winner of the Pulitzer Prize.
He was a bestselling author, political commentator, and former physician whose weekly column was syndicated to more than 400 publications worldwide.
He became permanently paralyzed from the neck down after a diving board accident that severed his spinal cord while he was in his first year at Harvard Medical School. Once he recovered he returned to medical school where he ultimately graduated to become a psychiatrist.
Krauthammer embarked on a career as a columnist and political commentator in the 80's. He bagan at the Washington Post in 1985, appeared on the weekly panelist on PBS news program Inside Washington from 1990 until 2013. Krauthammer has also been a contributing editor to The Weekly Standard, a Fox News contributor, and a nightly panelist on Fox News Channel's Special Report with Bret Baier.
He had received acclaim for his writing on foreign policy and other issues.
