Dick Williams, Singer in the Williams Brothers Quartet, DEAD @ 91
The Williams Brothers quartet was formed in late 1938, and there first performence on the radio was on WHO-AM in Des Moines, Iowa. The quartet was a partnership with his brother Andy Williams and two other older brothers in a foursome that not only appeared on the radio, but in the movies and as part of a popular nightclub act with Kay Thompson.
The brothers were also engaged as part of the MGM studio choir, and worked on films including Anchors Aweigh, Ziegfeld Follies, The Harvey Girls and Good News.

During the same period they also appeared in a number of musicals including Janie, Kansas City Kitty, Something in the Wind and Ladies' Man.
