Singer Dick Noel DEAD @ 90
Known as the "King of the Jingles."
Eventually known for his work on commercials, he began as a crooner with the Ray Anthony Orchestra. Having recorded as many as 1500 national TV and radio commercials including spots for United Airlines and McDonald's.
He worked in radio in both Cincinnati and Chicago plus made his first TV appearances on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts at CBS and then on The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show at ABC.
