VERNE TROYER DEAD AT 49

Known around the world as one of the shortest men and as Mini-Me in the 'Austin Powers' comedies.

He was born with a genetic disorder known as achondroplasia dwarfism.

Verne's career began in 1994 as a stunt double for Baby Bink in the film "Baby's Day Out." His big break was in 1999's "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," but he also had small roles in "Men in Black" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."

He appeared in a variety of small film roles and reality TV including "Celebrity Juice," "Celebrity Wife Swap," and "The Surreal Life."
