Popular Kids Host and Comic Chuck McCann DEAD @ 83
McCann was known for his work as a kids show host, puppeteer, nightclub comic, movie actor, voiceover performer and celebrity impersonator.
He became well known in the 1960's on television in New York City. McCann also did many television commercials, of which one of the most memorable was his regular appearances in a series of TV spots for Right Guard throughout the 1970's and '80's.McCann's animation credits are numerous and they include Fantastic Four (as the voice of Ben Grimm/The Thing), Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Pac-Man, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, G.I. Joe, The Powerpuff Girls, DuckTales, Where's Waldo?, and Animaniacs.
