Actor, James Karen DEAD @ 94
Played Mr. Teague in the modern horror classic Poltergeist.
He appeared in more than 200 films including 'The China Syndrome,' 'Return of the Living Dead,' 'Wall Street.'
For this native New Yorker, we also remember Karen for his appearances for the Pathmark Supermarket chain as their pitchman.
He performed on stage, television and the big screen. Name recognition was not as high as for some actors, but it was certain that his likeness was very well known over many decades.
