Correspondent Richard Pyle DEAD @ 83

Worked for the AP and Vietnam and numerous disaster stories.  He covered 2001 attack on the World Trade Center’s twin towers, the presidency of John F. Kennedy, the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon and was on the shore of the Hudson River in Manhattan when US Airways Capt. Sullenberger made a heroic splash-landing.
