Jefferson Airplane/Starship Co-Founder Marty Balin Dead at 76

The psychedelic rock band began in San Francisco in 1965. Balin was an integral part of all of their major releases including Surrealistic Pillow and Volunteers. Later on Airplane became Jefferson Starship and then Starship. Marty Balin also released solo material and performed with other bands through the years.
