Ted Dabney, Video Game Industry Pioneer, DEAD @ 81

Best known as the Co-Founder of Atari  

He developed the worlds first commercial video game called “Computer Space,” in 1971.  


By trade an electrical engineer and former U.S. Marine, Dabney partnered with Nolan Bushnell and just one year later the pair launched Pong, which turned out to be a huge arcade hit.  

He owned other game companies and was involved in other tech companies in addition to retail businesses.
